You wonder how this kind of braid is made? It is easy to do and takes very little time, so many people braid like this every day when the horse is working. I suppose I could make my own tutorial, but I found one on youtube

If you want to do it fast, for every day, you use bigger "chunks" of mane in the braid, but if you want it to look really pretty and tight, you use smaller "chunks".
You can even divide the mane along the middle if the horse has got very thick mane, and braid it like this on both sides. It looks great!
